What is Meta Embedded Signup?
Embedded Signup is Meta's official one-click onboarding flow for the WhatsApp Business API. It replaces the old multi-step process where you had to manually verify a Facebook Business Manager, register a phone number, request the API, copy tokens etc. With Embedded Signup, all of this happens inside a single popup dialog provided by Meta — usually under 60 seconds.
What permissions does AiToolKit request?
We request the minimum required scopes: whatsapp_business_management (to create templates and manage WABAs), whatsapp_business_messaging (to send/receive messages on your behalf), and business_management (to read your Business Manager structure). We never request email, user_birthday, or any personal Facebook data.
Do I need a Facebook Business Manager already?
If you have one, great — pick it during the signup. If you don't, Meta's dialog will let you create a new Business Manager and a new WhatsApp Business Account on the spot. The whole thing stays inside the same popup.
What happens to the access token?
Meta returns a short-lived code to AiToolKit. We exchange it server-side for a long-lived System User access token, then encrypt and store it. We never expose tokens to the browser or send them to third parties. Tokens are revocable from your Facebook Business Manager at any time.
Can I disconnect my WhatsApp Business Account later?
Yes — anytime. Go to your Facebook Business Settings → Business Integrations → AiToolKit → Remove. We also offer a "Disconnect" button inside the AiToolKit dashboard which deletes the stored token and stops all webhooks. Full data deletion can be requested via our Data Deletion page.
Is my data shared with anyone?
No. WhatsApp Business data (WABA IDs, phone numbers, message content) is stored only in your AiToolKit workspace. We do not sell, share or analyse it. Full privacy details in our Privacy Policy.
What if the popup is blocked or fails?
Make sure popups are allowed for aitoolkit.in in your browser. If the dialog fails with an error, click "Continue with Facebook" again — the flow is idempotent. For persistent issues contact info@aitoolkit.in with a screenshot.
What does it cost?
The Embedded Signup itself is free. AiToolKit platform fee is ₹999/month (Pro plan). WhatsApp conversation charges are paid directly to Meta as per India tariff — Utility ~₹0.11, Authentication ~₹0.08, Marketing ~₹0.80 per 24-hour conversation. Service messages are free.
